Police Confirm: Raveena Tandon Was Not Intoxicated, Her Car Did Not Hit Anyone

In the course of its investigation into a road rage incident involving actor Raveena Tandon, the Mumbai Police have determined that her car did not collide with anyone, according to an official statement on Sunday.

The incident, captured in a viral video, stemmed from a man’s claim that Raveena’s driver had hit his mother, leading to a confrontation. The man alleged that the altercation occurred while he was walking with his family near the actor’s house.

However, CCTV footage from the vicinity of the Khar-based building, where the incident took place, revealed that while women were in close proximity to Raveena’s car, they were not struck by it, as confirmed by a Khar police official.

The video circulating online shows a group of locals accusing Raveena and her driver of assaulting three women. The incident occurred on Carter Road in Bandra on Saturday night, as per police reports. Although no FIR has been filed, a station diary entry has been recorded at the Khar police station.

As of now, Raveena has not issued a statement regarding the incident. Allegations suggest that her driver had struck three individuals with the vehicle, inciting anger among bystanders and resulting in an altercation.

Following the confrontation, Raveena reportedly exited her vehicle to address the crowd but was allegedly pushed and hit in the process. In a viral video clip, Raveena can be heard pleading, “Please don’t hit me.”

The man featured in the video claimed that Raveena was intoxicated and initiated the assault after stepping out of the car. Subsequently, a group of individuals confronted Raveena and her driver within the premises of a building on Carter Road.

The altercation transpired after the driver reversed the car, according to police officials. A woman in the video can be seen complaining about being assaulted by Raveena and her driver, resulting in bleeding from her nose.

In response to the altercation, both parties visited the Khar police station and submitted written statements, asserting that they harbored no grievances against each other, as confirmed by the official statement.
