On their return, Dr. Sandeep was driving, with his brother Sushil in the passenger seat. Sushil’s wife and ten-year-old son were also in the car. Dr. Sandeep’s daughters, Khushi and Pari, were seated in the back.

Suddenly, smoke began to fill the car, followed by flames, trapping everyone inside. It took considerable effort to pull the family out of the vehicle. Dr. Sandeep and his daughters succumbed to suffocation, while his mother and brother’s family narrowly escaped. All the injured were taken to PGI.
